New Homes

New beginnings. In a place I have been many times before. Solitude not a friend, thanks to the sights, sounds and familiarities.

I've never felt truly home anywhere. When I was young, the world turned on its head as our family moved in a new direction. Old enough to know and feel the pain, young enough for it to be a lasting memory.

And now here. A chilly here. A cloudy grey that will take hold for months to come.

Home. It's where you pretend it to be.
